LAST EDITED ON May-22-16 AT 02:24PM (MST)[p]Any guesses on how many points it will take to be 100% odds for region g in 2016? Would you think 4.5 points has any chance at a tag this year.

There's no way to know that, the draw hasn't happened yet. The best you could do is look at 2015 and make a prediction.

4.5PPs won't be enough in the Regular Draw, but will be close to 100% in the Special Draw based on last years stats, if point creep doesn't go bananas in that draw.

It looks like 5 should do it in the special pool, 4.5 may not if the trend of nearly a point a year continues. It looks again like the hunter services are recommending G over the limited entry units, so it might be expected to go up again this year. It looks like the points to draw isn't going up quite as fast in the general pool, more like a half point a year the last three.

My thought on this for you is to do it and go on horseback. You won't regret it and Region G is some absolutely gorgeous country that holds plenty of big deer if you do it right.
