I'm not actively scouting my hunting elk area yet but I was out there bird hunting Yesterday and found a few elk One of them I would have shot. Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture of him. The pics I do have have 2, 6 point bulls, a great 5 and a small 4 . The one I would be looking for was only a 6 point BUT he was huge, may be 45-50 inch wide and length was well over half it's body length. I'm getting a bit antsy now. 
PS I have another distraction now too, my wife just won a all inclusive guided fishing trim for two for ANY water in Montana and she has to use it this month. We will talk about this later ... As soon as I can talk here in to me being the other half of two... :?:
Yup it was a closed area. The elk come here when the bow hunters get heavy as the bugs :x
