PPoint split w/ friend?

I have one non-res preference point for deer, my friend has 0. If we put in together, does our application have 0 points or 1/2 point or something else?

it will give you the average between the two of you, or 1/2 point.

2 friends would be .333333333 points, and so on. IMO WY handles the point system the best.
