I don't quite agree. Definitely a fun hunt if you haven't already done one. We did this one as a team entry at the Utah taxidermy competition last week. Got it hung up tonight. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Beautiful mount.

What part don't you agree with?

They're not nearly as challenging as a wild sheep but a NM public land or west Texas free range hunt is a great way to go while waiting to draw that elusive bighorn or desert tag.

I agree, it was one of the funnest hunts I have done. More than part of the poor man. Unfortunately most hunt cost a good bit these days with travel, tags, outfitter/trespass fees etc. But still more affordable than a true sheep hunt or tag. I can't wait to go after another one. They are a great fit for me as they hunt them after my traditional intake period. They do make a fantastic addition to a trophy room.

I should have been a taxidermist... ?

It's not too late and its a great way to become rich with everyone slammed with work and now that they are almost all charging 800$+ for a shoulder mount that takes 8 hours to complete and not having to deliver for 2+ years....whats not to love about the profession?!....lol
