JUST DOUBLE CHECKING THE POINT NUMBERS. QUESTION.....WHEN YOU APPLY FOR A ELK HUNT & DONT DRAW YOU EARN A POINT. IS THIS STILL THE CASE I HOPE ??? I LOST MY WAY TRYING TO KEEP UP ON ALL THE DIFFERENT STATES RULES & REGS. I SEEM TO BE 1 POINT SHORT ON WYOM. ELK POINTS.

You don't earn a PP unless you pay for it each year and don't draw a first choice tag! In other words, in Wyoming you just don't earn a PP because you don't draw a tag you applied for.

Can't comment on the point if not drawn, but you can skip the application process and just buy a point afterwards. This year, I didn't apply for a tag but bought a point in August.

Also Wyoming may not have updated the count for points purchased in 2017 yet. I don't know for sure as I have not checked recently.

They should all be updated by now, but since I don't have any I can't check to see!
