Poaching Pt 2

One of the local "town" bucks was killed by a suspected(?) poacher in Rock Springs. His body was found Oct 31, and GW Dave Hays figured he had been dead for about 10 days or so. The antlers had been removed. Anyone with any pics of the local "town" bucks is encouraged to call Dave so he can be able to tell if these antlers turn up somewhere.

As usual, there is a $5K reward from WGFD for any info leading to the arrest and conviction of any scumbag caught for this crime.

Muley Fanatic Foundation has decided to match the G&F reward money in this case. That's $10,000.00 for any info that could lead to a conviction.

Agreed, nfh. And jail time, and lifetime banishment from hunting and fishing.

Game and Fish just made a statement that the deer was not poached. It was hit by a car. However, the antlers were cut off, and that is illegal. They are still looking for those.

Yeah, I saw that. The original article stated that they didn't know the cause of death. Kinda made me wonder why they were assuming it was poached. Especially since they found it along the interstate.
