Poaching for 10 years?

These phuks got off way to easy..
I doubt the fines even covered the cost of the investigation,and most of the jail time suspended?

While I agree that the fines should be much stiffer for serial poachers especially, but it seems they are stiffer than some you hear about.

The ones I don't get are where they obviously trophy hunt illegally because it costs less to pay fines some times than to pay for trophy hunts. If you are going to poach it should really cost you with Felony convictions, 5-6 figure fines, and jail time. The value of the resource alone should be considered.

soooo... apprx 4200. bucks each and a smidgion of jail time to hunt elk and deer in a primo area with unlimited harvest for 10years.. how are idaho outfitters supposed to compete with that, kinda makes them sound like crooks.
and to fish and game.. if i kill a deer/elk out of season and you watch me do it and have proof of illegal activities happening infront of you, i would deffinately appreciate the same treatment of these fine folks and letting me to continue to kill as much as i can to the point where im getting serious cramping in my trigger finger and dead tired of packing racks off the mountain before you stick me with a gargantuan fine of 4000.dollars and some vacation time to lift weights and get in shape for the following season. and maybe i wont do it for10 years just 7 or 8 that will keep me under radar from the real crazies out there...

oh yeah got to raise license fees for poor management and misuse/abuse of employee time.
good grape nuts, just like the other poaching sting nabbed that was another 10-12 years in the making with a slap on the wrist and a shame on you..

to you outdoorsman out there just dont do the unthinkable and keep a 11.5 inch trout in 12" area. you can bet your a$$ your going to get the chair, and the rest of your family will be banished from the state...
