1st place #12, very clean
2nd place #10, great lighting, always good pics.
3rd place #4
Honorable mention #5, remove the gun and its #1

Yelum

Its 4 & 5. They both did a real great job of setting the animal up and took some great photos. If I had to pick one, it would be 4, because the rifle is a little in the way in 5.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-13-10 AT 08:44AM (MST)[p]3 first, followed closely by 1, 11, and 12.

Most are all great photos. Like Yelum says, number 5 would be the winner but the rifle is too prominent and thus knocks it off the top spot. Nonetheless its still a great field photo.

Have a good one BB

Number 4 (cams buck) would be first.

Second and very close would be Number 5 (Scotts Giant Bull Moose)

12 and then 5

#12 - Best "Field Photo", if you base a field photo on the field around the photo.
#5 - Second runner up, awesome background!

Some nice photos. IMO I think 8 and 12 are the highest quality field photo. Lack of shadows, trophy, and hunter placement was great.

Photo number 3 of the mountain goat and lady has a good background, but the shadows on the ladies face take to much away from the photo.

The gun in photo 5 draws all of my immediate attention. I have to draw my attention away from the gun to look at the hunter and harvest. The shadows on the faces are distracting but it is hard to take pictures when the sun is directly above. I think this photo would be my favorite if the gun was absent, and the guys left arm was not directly behind the horn of the antelope. The guys arm makes it difficult to see the bucks right horn

My picks are 8 and 12 tied for 1st place.

Sorry for the nit pick, but I love looking at great field photos and enjoy taking good photos and know exactly how hard it is to get good setups. All of the photos are good and congrats to the hunters.

I think it is between #12 and #5 ,

My vote would go to #5

Good picture, great pronghorn buck

Man and wife, great background
