This is a place where we can take the load off and have some fun!
Not everything has to be "dead" serious around here.
The public forum has always provided a good laugh.
It kills me how guys take themselves so seriously and get Sooo uptight when they are the brunt of a joke.
For Christ's sake lighten up! You might live a little longer!!
I for one will miss this old bar!

The point behind dumping this forum isn't to take the fun posts away. The reason is to make it more difficult for troublemakers to stir up trouble. Sure, they're going to cause trouble from time to time in the other forums, but it's much easier to ban their email addresses, deactivate user accounts, etc.

Bottom line, there's just no reason for the public forum anymore. It's not that difficult to register and use the other forums. It's not like I require a DNA sample, just an email address and name.

It's your site Brian & as such I'm sure this wasn't a capricious or spontaneous decision on your part, I'm still curious as to what was the original reason was for this forum & why has that reason disappeared ?
