PETA Gonna use drones to spy...

Who wouldn't love to see those things in a smoldering pile of sh*t on the ground.

I see one hovering over me and oh never mind... ;-)

Lunatics. Every last one of them. I'm afraid my hunter's safety days would be throw out the window if I saw one of those. Lead would be arcing through the sky!

They're a non issue. No range and no flight time, coupled with the fact there will be half a dozen freaks wanting to participate, they will be limited to a field or buffalo hunt somewhere.

I am willing to bet otherwise... I understand what you saying, but not everyone in the US hunts the large open lands of the west. Many guys back east hunt little ranches, etc. They could use that all over. Also what about limited sheep areas where the rams are only found on a specific outcroppings, etc. In wilderness I agree it is a non issue, but elsewhere it could be a huge pain in the arse. Not to mention the negative effect it might have on the hunt. Imagine a disabled hunter who can only get a few 100 yards from the road and that damn things just floating over head. Also the second an animal closed in what would stop the person from buzzing the animal or worse yet tagging the hunter...

Well, since corner jumping is illegal because you "own" the air up to 500 ft, then if it drops below that (which it would have to), you could take it out for violating your "air space"

venor, ergo sum (I hunt, therefore I am)

WITH THE DRONE COST BEING PRICEY AS HECK, AND THE INFO GATHERED MINIMAL, THE PROGRAM WILL CRASH AND BURN SOON. (DID I SAY CRASH & BURN......OOOOOPS !!!!)................YD.

This is PETA scum bags, thinking they can do a miniature version of Whale Wars.

Who raised these losers for them to have there priorities so screwed up.

Way bigger problems in the world besides a guy hunting dove.

It is definitely going to be a target of opportunity for people in the field.

Myself, unaccustomed as I am to violating ANY law, would NEVER intentionally shoot one down........but some people might. Just sayin'.

Split shot fishing weights with 18" of 10 lb. braided line ......instant 1200 fps "bolo". You can get ten of them into a 12 ga. shell. Saw that on a Martha Stewart "household hints" column......well, maybe it wasn't Martha Stewart.

There may be an upside to this. You could follow one around and see where the animals are being watched, then hit that spot when the drone goes for fuel.

wrong......and stupid"

Are the drones radio controlled? If yes it would be fun to get a controller that scans frequencies and start messing with the drones flight. No need to shoot it down when you can chase a few PETA guys before crahing the drone.
