Both style peep sights will work for you. The Shurz-A-Peep style with rubber tubing is a very popular peep with hunters. Once you sight in with it, it will not affect your arrow flight. It's dependable and tried and true.
The only problem inherited with tied in peeps without an aligner is if the bow string stetches. Your peep will twist and not properly align with your eye if this occurs.
I currently shoot a No Lose Peep that separates the strands and allows you to see through. However, this peep will also twist if your string stretches. To combat this, I had Winner's Choice strings put on all my compound bows. I have yet to have one stretch after my initial break in. Thus, my peep sight stays aligned.
Bottom line is don't be afraid of a Shurz-A-Peep with rubber tubing. It will perform good with only occassional replacement of the rubber tubing. Good luck and have fun.
