WHAT ARE THE BEST PELLETS FOR MY HOUSE STOVE?

If you're near northern Utah, there is a sawmill in Ovid, I'd by Bear Lake that makes really good pellets... and they are cheaper than the regular retail places. Otherwise check for sawmills in your area.

Best I've found here in CA is Goldenfire.

That's because Goldenfire has bought out several of the smaller companies that use to make pellets. You may have noticed that the price of pellets have jumped quite a bit since they did that. One of the reasons we went with a high efficent Lopi LP gas fireplace stove instead of a pellet stove 4 years ago.
It has proven to be cheaper then pellets for heating the house.
