Well After 8 years of putting in I finally drew my Tag. Just curious if anyone has hunted the archery hunt recently and what kind of success they had. I have a reasonable amount of bowhunting experience and can't wait to start scouting. Any advice or Ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

muleyarcher as much as I like to say it but the paunsy is going down hill. I would hunt the higher elevations. I know of 3 tags last year and no one killed. They all had their sights set on a buck and only that buck though. Good Luck and Have Fun!!!bowhuntercop

Thanks for the advice. As always it is bowhunting and when your trying to hold out for a huge buck your odds go down. Of course it is not as good as it once was but. I would challenge that any unit in the west is as good as it once was. It only takes one buck for your hunt to be a hunt of a lifetime and those kind of bucks are killed on a yearly basis off of the paunsy. Thanks for the reply...

You will do fine and see lots of bucks.
Hunt the high country: Above the pink cliffs, Kanab ceek off of tropic road, and whiting bench.

Good luck!
