Paunsaugunt Access

Is it very far to access the Paunsaugunt from Bryce Canyon area. I have never been on the mountain and want to slip away for a evening drive. I'm 10 miles from Tropic. Any help would be great.

Head west from the Bryce , hwy 12 junction a couple miles. Turn south on the road marked East Fork of the Sevier, Tropc Res, King Creek campground etc.. . Your then on the Pauns
