Paradise Buck

This is a Buck that lives in Paradise CA. Its a Blacktail-Mule deer mix that's what they say? I have another pic of a Huge Blacktail Mix but going away. I'll try to post this also. My brother emailed me these pics, enjoy.

I read in an oregon magazine once that the mule deer has a black tipped tail while the blacktail deer has exactly that, a black tail. A cross between the muley and blacky will give you a deer with a stripe down the tail and is a hybrid. Acoording to that magazine I would agree with you and say that the buck walking away is indeed a crossbreed. Very interesting. fatrooster.
