I might be getting April and May confused but I believe ice-off is around April 20th. Its been a cold spring so it might be a week later this year
 
Thats usually right on the money and by may 1 it starts running pretty hard brown water for a while depending on how fast the warm up is Bet its higher than heck again this year Lots of trees and crap floating for quite a while I know this cuz that place owes me an outboard
Ive seen ice 20 inches thick on jackson lake on May 15 th tho
