I'm thinking of painting some kind of camo design on my coyote gun. It's a black synthetic, blued barrel savage 22-250. Mostly want to paint it to eliminate any shine.

I know guys have done it before, just interested to see any cool designs, or tricks to do. What kinds of paint work best etc......

My "turtle" rifle. I bought some "flat" paint in spray cans at the local hardware store. Have fun with it, you can always cover it up. One lady at the gun range told me it was the cutest rifle she had ever seen.:)

It's written in the good Book that we'll never be asked to take more than we can. Sounds like a good plan, so bring it on!

Contact Bushelor AKA BigStick in Alaska!

He's got every shade of KRYLON ever made!

BigStick has probably F'D more Guns up than most of us will ever own with his custom Paint Jobs!

Ask REDDOG about Leupold Treatment with BigStick also!

NVB will probably Call me on it but I'll prove Him Wrong once again!

IF YOUR NOT REALLY WORRIED ABOUT LOOKS, CAMO TAPE WILL GET THE JOB DONE AS WELL. I ONLY WANT MY RIFLE TO FUNCTION WELL.....................YD.

My son and I both painted our Coyote Guns this last summer. Mask off everything we didnt want painted. Then painted the whole guns in textued sandstone . Then Camo rustoleum. So far they have held up fine, and the flat camo really hides the guns. I also read about painting the sling and our shooting sticks and tried it. used tub and tile chalking on both and then the camo paint, worked great so far.
