Does anybody use or know of good pack for carrying infants and toddlers out in the hills. I have a 6 month old, and it is getting warm enough to start taking the little man out with me.

Off topic but be cautious of ticks for the little fellow.

My friends have a couple they used to haul thier daughter up and down the hills. I'll find out some specs on them tommorrow.

We have KeltyKids Ridgeline. It works great, we take our little monster ( 15 monthes old) with us pretty often. He loves it but, ends up falling asleep sometimes. A few weeks ago we got into a pretty good spot and my wifes pack with all the horn weighted more than mine with the boy in it. The only other thing I would reconmend would be to bring a ski pole to help keep your balance on muddt/steep slopes. Have fun and start them early.

Kelty makes one that works fantastic. We just gave ours to my brother. Should run about $180.00 new. Ours had a sunshade and a detatchable day pack. Great for kids to fall asleep in too, just put a small blanket on the back of your neck and they will just lay their little heads down for miles.
