OTC bear spot and stalk

Bought an OTC harvest objective tag while I tagged along on an elk hunt. Sitting a waterhole was very unproductive so we were walking back to the Jeep before it got dark. Spotted what I thought was another cow dropping off the ridge in front of us. Thought it walked kind of funny for a cow. Realized quickly it was a bear. Hurried to get to the top of the same ridge. The bear ended up coming out behind us on the trail where we initially spotted him. Sat down, ranged him, dialed for the 436 yard distance and started sending 168 grain pills. Crazy experience!! 257 pounds of meat. My rough measure of the skull is 21 3/4”. Old warrior for sure.

Congrats!! Great accomplishment, especially on a huge bear like that. A bear with a 21+" skull is pretty close to a 200" buck or 400" bull in my opinion.
