I give the state my token $4 for a goat app.

I'd much rather draw a Bighorn sheep permit! I've been applying for a sheep tag since 1973! Hope I draw before I'm too old.

Personally, I would rather have the wallowa tag, cnsidering I live 1 Mile from Huriicane devide. I can set the spotting scope up, and watch goats from my bedroom window, sheep to. I know he area very well, and would love to chase some of those huge billies that summer in the echo lake/twin peaks area. Also they just came out with a new tag called the cusick mountain tag. It is the first year, so I guess I have just as good of a chance as everyone else.

He is asking about Mountain Goats, not Bighorn Sheep. Pretty soon we will be able to hunt goats up by hat point looking down on the snake r.

I have no doubt that either tag will produce a trophy, but with the Elkhorn tag I was able to look over 50-60 goats a day, sometimes more. Anyone who's in shape and has some basic hunting knowledge should bag a fine trophy. If anyone draws the Elkhorn tag, send me an email and I'll help you out.
