Oregon Drawing Odds

Good luck to all in Oregon draw, your odds got better by one - I'm outta there.

Gave up my 11 points for elk, deer, sheep when I realized it was more than likely I would never draw a tag in my lifetime. It was more of a principal decision than $$ for me but I chose to support the states that I think have their stuff together.

You did'nt give up any points for sheep, because they don't issue any points for sheep.

Oregon is a joke. I started collecting points 14 years ago not really having a plan. About 5-6 years ago I started to think about cashing some in and going. Most all prime NR hunts were still many points away. With the fees doubling last year and tags going to outfitters, that did it for me.

Venison and Zinfandel are GOOD!

Born and raised, still here in Oregon. They shouldn't give sooo many resident tags in the first place. 2nd they should allow more non-residents to draw.

I'm lucky because I achery hunt and 90% of the units can be bought over the counter, JUST LIKE ya'll can do!
