oh it burns my azz! what a crock of chit. my forfathers hunted indians, can i still do that? no. do they hunt like their "forfathers did? no. do what you want on the reservation, but off of it, hunt like everyone else

Wow. Wasnt that article too faced. On one note they are bitching about how the natives get to hunt wide open places, then it says that its the Indians right to hunt where they want to. Maybe my interpitation is wrong. I love it when the article basically says the Indian tribes wants there to be lots of game for everyone to hunt. Really? Are you kidding. Just look at the Klamath Indian tribe near Klamath. You cant hardly find a deer on there reservation now. Now the Indians hunt well outside of there reservation down her in Klamath. What a bunch of bullshit.

Unreal. First off I was raised with Klamath indians. Many were my best friends. I walked down the graduation isle with one. There are a few good ones. Most are not and I attribute this to the "rez life." They don't manage "their" game. They take what they want. A good buddy of mine was a rez "warden." The only way an indian would get in trouble was if it was a serious offense like MURDER. To give this race exclusive rights to hunt ANYWHERE is absolutely ignorant. They have no laws to abide by because they are a sovereign nation and now they have no GAME LAWS and free reign! My god what is the world coming to?

I hate this state and I'm starting to hate this country. The liberals and their "interpretations" of 150 year old documents is almost funny. First off there weren't two liberals in Oregon 150 years ago and now they run Oregon and the country and "interpret" things.........I'm still venting and no I don't feel any better. F indians, F obama, F liberals, F socialism, F gov't, F u if u nuke this.

If they were real indians, they would wrangle their own wild horse and make their own bow and in conclusion HUNT LIKE THEIR ANCESTORS. That is what it is suppose to be about is it not?

I seem to remember when I was living in Montana that the Indians could roam quite abit!

By the way! I'm Nick, an old fart!

Rut-n-bull, I like the way you think. They should use 1855 type weapons then.

No compounds, no smokeless powder, no in-lines, etc.

it seems to me all of you oregonians let the west side ( I-5) corridor run youre whole state stand and say no them its youre state to i have worked with a lot of people from oregon ansd wahington to all say the same thing you put a ban on hunting cats running dogs basically they are about ready to put a ban on hunting if you let them stand - UP FOR YOURESELVES

how would you propose this?

are county failed these laws 10 to 1. but it dont matter, those couple of counties outnumber the rest of the state 20 to 1.

other than shoot, shovel, and shut up ( which will happen more than you'll ever hear about) how do you figure we can win one of these major votes?

OR are you just showing your ignorance?

I seen some of these poachers in action around k-falls. They had a flatbead truck stacked with about 15 deer and all of them still had their hides on them. They either like eating rotten meat or they waste half of what they kill. Any hunting off the rez is poaching in my book. They need to just use their fed money and go to the store and buy meat and leave the wildlife for the real sportmen, who know how to take care of it and do respect it. Well most do.

I'm a half breed so I know what many indians think of the whiteman's law and to some degree I agree.

That said if you want to hunt historical grounds you should hunt with historical equipment meaning you get to and from on a horse and you use your ancestors primitive weapons. you can't have it both ways.

I really think these laws and the rez system in gerneral do the native americans more harm than good anymore but what are you going to do.

ignorance no it takes every body that hunts fish camps rides 4 wheeler basiclly any outdoorsman to vote these things down as far as the indians hunting whereever they want that has to be a federal thing but if they hunt off the rez i do beleive they have to obey the laws of that area but here again ask youre fish and game they could tell you i just know what idaho has done with there bear and cat laws and it was voting down and i havent heard anything about the indians hunting off rez here

killerbee here is youre chance to get the cat and bear back on a ballot and get it voted through so you can use dogs and bait there is site on here get everyone to sign on it
