Well here is our chance to give comments again on the Oregon Wolf Plan. Make sure your emails and comments are professional and ask for science not personal feelings with an agenda. The Fish & Wildlife Commission is the real group we need to convince if any changes are to be looked at and made.

Oregon should be looking at what has and is currently happening in MT and ID with their higher wolf populations and hunting season. This should be a great time for Oregon to make little adjustments to our wolf plan.

Send your emails saying you would like ODFW to update what they see fit for Oregon?s wolves with the newest most up-to-date scientific information available.

Wolf Plan Evaluation: The Wolf Plan is due for its five-year review this year (2010). ODFW is working closely with stakeholders for their input and taking public comments on the plan?s effectiveness. To comment, please send an email to [email protected]. Comments received by June 30, 2010 will be considered for the draft evaluation, which will include any recommended changes to the plan. The draft evaluation should be available for preliminary review by the public in August. ODFW will present the results of the evaluation and any recommendations to amend the plan to the Fish and Wildlife Commission at their Oct. 1 meeting in Bend.
