One eye or two???

Both eyes open. I tend to get on target quicker and it's easier on my left eye just leaving it open. It was a bit wierd at first by I got use to it quickly. I use both eyes open with my rifle scope also. Much quicker target acqusition.

I have both open, but my left is only half open to help focus on the dot, yet allow for periphal vision. I do the same with a shotgun. SInce I don't own a rifle I use neither there. Handguns I have both wide open.

PRO

I shoot with one eye open. I'm right handed, but left eye dominant. If I try to shoot with both eyes open, I usually can't see the target good enough through my peep because my left eye want's to take over.

I shoot with both eyes open easier to see target and follow
any moving game through the timber until the shot happens.

Both I start with both eyes until on target and ready to shoot, and then close one just prior to the release for extra focus on the "spot".

Two, I don't believe it holds any significant advantage over one. It's just the way I feel comfortable. I would also have to agree with some of the others so far, it's the same way I shoot my rifle and shotgun.

I shoot two eyes open, and it seems to work form me. I ask, cause I saw a video of Cameron Hanes shooting, like someone said earlier he too locks on with two then closes his left right before the shot. Didn't know the reason for that.

Exactly what I do too.

For me it allows initial full view and makes it much faster to get on target. Then the final focus for the shot. Try the same with your rifle scopes and you will notice how much quicker you find the animal and get on target to shoot.

I found that closing my left eye (right hand shooter) right before shooting I was able to pick a spot a little better, my groups tightened up and it has worked for me.
