Oklahoma Heat Bowl ?

39 days in a row over 100. 5" of rain in the last 10 months. The 2nd worst dry spell for our area was 15" in that amount of time. Trees are beginning to die. No green grass since this time last year. Record cattle sale off. No water in ponds/lakes. Hottest June and July on record. Forcast to be the hottest Aug. Forcast: 109-116 degrees for the next 7 days. Gotta love Oklahoma.

Yep - Texans can relate. Going on day 46 of 100+ temps. It's a La Ni?a year - it is cyclical and happens from time to time. We are praying though that the rains will come and next year will be much better.
