odd find but sweet

found these about 15 feet apart last saturday. they are busted off on the main beams it's a match set. i've found busted points before but not whole horns let alone both sides must have been a heck of a fight. I want to find the one that broke him off

Do you really think it was another buck that broke those antlers off? Here's my theory: This buck is going to live a very long time. Once he sheds the velvet from his antlers, he finds the natiest tough ol' gnarly juniper root and fights and fights and fights until he breaks both sides completely off. He then lives his life on the open slopes hanging out with the does and fawns "blending in". Survival of the smartest at work...simply amazing.
