Odd color fletch alignment?

This is a really dumb question, but I have not shot in a few years and I am getting back into bowhunting this year.....I have a Hoyt x-tec with a drop away rest on it. I have 2 white fletches and 1 orange one. I think the odd color goes down? Is this correct or does the 2 white fletches go down at angles. This does not seem right since the orange fletch points straigt down and seems to go through the v in the rest when it drops away. What is the correct way?

the white ones go down... if you look, the white fletchings lay the flattest so that they do not hit your rest when you shoot them.. sometimes they come loose and you have to twist them back into place, but that should not happen...

It does not matter as long as you get clearance. I was shooting mine odd up for a while then odd down now. Mine clear either way with my fall away. (Trophy Ridge) I had to switch mine to clear my fiber optics when I lowered the sight to get a 80yd pin. (Trophy Ridge) Totally a personal preferance as to what you like.

If your rest is a Trophy Taker or Drop Zone the odd color should be up, as suggested by the respective manufacturers.

Thanks....I was getting an odd wobble in flight that I have never seen before. I will try it the other way next time and see what happens. If it wobbles both ways, I know the wobble is something else....It never did this before.

Really looking forward to bowhunting this upcoming season. Got a great Nevada spot all picked out.

If you are getting noticeable wobble then you should be able to see the contact on the fletching or rest if that is what is causing it. If you are shooting helical fletching and one gets a little damaged it can cause some flight issues. My practice fletching gets messed up and even if one is a little tweaked it will affect the flight. Did not notice it as much with only offset, but it became much more noticeable when I switched to helical.
