The 1982 Forest Service plan expires at the end of this year and the Obama administration is working hard to get a new one in place by the end of the year. No worries, I'm sure his administration is full of common-sense people who grew up working and recreating in the mountains and who will not bow down to the enviromentalists.
Without even seeing it, I'm guessing his new plan for our 155 national forests is going to emphasis the following:
NO ACCESS
NO LOGGING
NO HUNTING
NO GRAZING PERMITS
