Hi I'm back,
Here are a couple of pictures of the Rocky Mt Goat I took with my bow on Tuesday at 12 yards in the Ruby Mountains. It's 5 years old with 9 inch horns and was a fun hunt and perfect shot right through the heart. It never took a step after the shot just tipped over and fell onto a slick rock water fall fall tumbling out of sight and Dan captured it on video!!!
It was great hunt and although it's not the big billy I thought I wanted before I left it was an absolutely perfect bow hunting opportunity that I couldn't pass up and an archery trophy I'll never forget!! It's also the first big game animal I've ever taken with a release.
Cliff thanks for all of your help tuning my bow the last few weeks and Dan I look forward to our upcoming sheep hunt in Alaska except for the conditioning and you know I need a lot of that.
