Now that Elk Season is over...

Now that elk season is over, all of us shed addicts must face the wait!! It is a long and painful journey. I keep my moral up by watching film of picking up previous sheds, but the pain is still there.
Does anybody hunt the Bighorns in Wyoming for Moose sheds. I am planning on giving it a shot this year. I have found a few moose sheds but never in large amounts. How do you guys do it? Where do you look? Do you use snowshoes? Any info anyone has would be useful.
Thanks, and know that you are not alone in the painful wait. Does anyone know any coping mechanisims!!!!

LAST EDITED ON Dec-14-04 AT 10:19AM (MST)[p]sorry, i don't know anything about WY.

good luck

Thanks, I am sure I'll need it. There is some much area, and so little time!

Personally I look at it as the time needed to get reaquainted with the wife. Otherwise, I think if I took the time to go shedding right after hunting season, there would be no wife. ; )

boneaddict,
I can see you point, unfortunatly or Fortunatly, I have yet to find a wife, and until I do, my free time belongs to "Shedding"

Tanner,
Do you need help on posting pictures?? If so, let me know and I will send you a short write up on doing it.

Brian

Brian,
That would be great! I have read the instructions for posting that the site has, but If you know a way the I can post pics. without creating a link to another site, I would really appreciate the info. I have a load of shed pics I would like to get up! Any info you have would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Tanner

HEY, Tanner,

How do you have time to post pictures when you have a Wildlife Management Final today?!!

I'll have to email some pics from the winter range when I get home..
See you in 30... Ronnie

Ronnie,
I am undersevere stress as well as you are. There is no way I am going to be able to pass a WM final even with notes. I think I am getting depressed over it, and shed pictures are my only method of coping.
I would appreciate any pictures that you can send. I will endure the torture of knowing that I will not be able to pick up their sheds. That is ok. I think I can handle it, I think!
Anyway, good luck on the job, finds some monster sheds for me!
Give me a ring or e-mail everyonce in a while, I would like an update on how the wolves are slaughtering the herds. RIGHT!!!!????????
