Had a pretty good Saturday besides a steady wall of sprinkling rain and some light snow up high, was very cold but we still went out looking, seen 3 bulls with no headgear so we went after them, ended up finding 2 of their sets, one still out there and then we also picked up a set from last year, one side busted off just after the 1st browtine, picked up a few more from last year and some older ones, in all we found 3 sets from this year, the biggest being the 6x6 set, looks like these bulls been doing a lot of fighting too, lots of broken tines on them, anyway we had fun, stayed out all day and got back to the truck right at dark, was funny because we maxed out our lil' pack frame with 12 antlers and one strap broke on me! ended up fixing it the best we could, 20yards later the other strap broke, fixed that one too and slowly made it back to the truck, a great trip and hope to go up again this coming easter weekend to find some more antlers and some easter eggs too.
