NORTHERN RAC

EMP Was rubber stamp of the DWR Proposal

Wiley,
I am nominating that for post of the
century on Monster Muleys!

Your are spot on.

the whole rac process is a sham! public input is not needed. the wildlife board has an agenda and it looks nothing like what the average hunter in Utah wants.

Nets are for fish!!

pretty much everyone in the public wanted the age objectives to stay the same and the RAC didn't even discuss it amongst themselves. They were more concerned over getting free tags for building a water trough for cattle. The ones that could tell that the common sense thing is to keep age objectives where they are at didn't really seem to care about hunting at all.

Well that sums up the meeting. SFW cares more about the mighty dollar they can make than hunting for average joe hunters.

SFW has the RAC/WB members sucking on their teat along with the DWR.

Does anyone think it's dangerous to let one group control everything?

Don't know about the northern RAC but the Central RAC SFW spoke up for what the public wanted and the SFW member of the RAC tried to get it in a proposal but the rest of the RAC would not even vote on it.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-25-10 AT 05:53PM (MST)[p]What are you talking about bird man. SFW NEVER supported what the general public wanted. He suggested they try the weapons split on the Wasatch that called for the majority of the tags to go to archers thats it, all the while ignoring the survey that shows the MAJORITY supported maintaining the current plan or increased opportunity. And in case you didn't notice he voted to accept the new EMP which will result in a decrease in opportunity for the hunter who can't afford or is unwilling to purchase a high dollar tag.
