Northern end of Region R?

Was going to make a trip in mid-November out to this area after deer season but I lost a close friend of mine and helped his family out and never had the time to take a look see. just wonder how the deer population is in this area and if anyone has hunted recently are there a lot of hunters.

i hunted east of bighorn canyon rec area . very disapointed!

36 moose---Did you access that area of unit 53 off the highway down south? I was up within about 3-4 miles of the Montana border for a short scouting trip one day in late September and the area looked real good. I was really thinking of drawing the tag in the next year or two and trying a hunt up there, especially since the season goes to November 4. It sounds like it's not worth it, huh?
