Hi all. I have 9 pts and was trying to get some input on what would be a good hunt. was thinking of 100 or 124. don't think I have the points to draw those ones. but trying get some ideas on what unit would be good. No guide and mostly public land. Thanks.

You have a zero chance of drawing those tags.

If you look I think there are a bunch of threads about NR hunters with 9 points .

I'd suggest area 45 from what you're saying.

From my in the unit experience I would second the unit 45 suggestion. 9PPs should draw either the Type 1 or 9 tag. The former allows you to hunt archery the last half of September with a $35 archery permit and the rifle season that opens the middle of October. The latter is for archery only the entire month of September and the one I would draw if I had 9PPs.
