I got within 80 yards of a real nice 3 point but couldn't close the deal, maybe next time.

I passed a decent buck this morning at 50 yds.
My son's passed up several so far.
He had four at a water hole last evening at 48 yards.

It's a loooooong season and not being an archery purist, I'll wait till the end of rifle season in September if I have to in search of a good buck.

This cool spell has got them going. While out scouting for tree stand sites we saw a group of 6 bucks with two shooters in it. He's up in a tree now.

Saw a couple Bucks but boy were they spooky.Looks like A zone is a lot better hunting now then when I last hunted it.I've got some high hopes for rifle season.
