Last September I found this buck and was able to capture this image of him alive and well during the bow season. After missing the deer with my bow I vowed to search the corners of the earth for his sheds if he made it through all the hunts. So during the last week in April I spent 3 days and walked over 25 miles to find them. Each side rested only one tenth of a mile from the other and were only about a mile from where I missed the deer. I have also posted a picture of me holding this bucks right antler from 2 years ago as well. So here are some pics from the recent shed hunt. Hope you all enjoy.

What a sweet buck!! I bet it was hard to hike off the mountain the day you missed him. Is it in an area you can draw again fairly easy? If so good luck this year

Holly Shiz! Nice buck you been following! Hope to see you holding his velvet antlers this fall with a bloody arrow resting on them!

Very nice sheds. And to have two years of the dropper is amazing. It's interesting to see the acorn on the new shed's g-3, and on the old shed, there seems to be a knot about the same height. Any takers on why?

I love to see it when somebody works hard to keep up with a buck and finds the sheds. Kinda a sweet revenge. Good luck in gettin' that guy this next year. fatrooster.

Thanks for sharing your post wit us novices. With only a few seasons of hunting behind me, I am happy and thankful to find what I manage to find, but like any sport, I'm finding there are some real pros at it. I videotaped 50-80 bucks in a particular area during the heighth of the rut in November, and all I have for several hikes in the area is a small 3x4 match, two small brownie 4's, a white small 3, and several forkys. Not ome of the bigger bucks I had on tape. For you to take pictures of a unique buck, try to harvest him, then collect his sheds amazes me. Great job!
