NM Fall Turkey

What’s up y’all.
Headed to unit 34 this September to try my luck at a fall turkey.
I got 2 questions. What is unit 34 like? And in y’all’s experience, is there a decent chance I could get within bow range or should I just bring my shotgun and not even chance it? I appreciate any advice in advance. ( is there a better fall unit?)

You most likely are not going to have a different range with either weapon ,the difference I get is an anti climatic kill with a bow versus a shot gun, you either like dropping one where he stands or watching one run a bit after a massive deadly kill shot with an arrow. Had both ways this season , still ended with a bird either way.
