Nikon Prostaff, any good or suggestions

I'm looking at buying a scope that costs 300 to 500 bucks, weighs about 30 ozs, has a 60 or 65mm lense, waterproof, and is just a good scope in this range. Is the Nikon Prostaff a good scope? Or does anyone have any insight on something that might be better?

I've heard nothing but good reviews about the Prostaff spotters. The only think I don't like about them, is they seem to be much longer than others in the same class.

Seems like lots of guys really like the Vortex (Nomad?) as well.

I have a Windriver scope... use your money for something better.
