Nikon or Leica rangefinder

What would be a better purchase? A new Nikon gold 1200 rangefinder or a almost new ( Cabelas bargin cave It's in perfect shape) Leica 900 CFR rangefinder? They are within $10 of each other in price.

On a deer/elk size animal how far can you really range with each one?

I also have a leica. I also hit "the cave" to compare items.. LEICA is the best!! Clarity is great!

I went with the Leica 900 from the bargin cave. The glass was a lot better, I liked the red read out more then the black read out. I will try it out next week on a hunt.
