Nikon BDC reticle

I'm looking into purchasing a Nikon Buckmaster scope. The BDC reticle looks like it might be worth having, but I know nothing about how well it works. I will be putting it on either a .270 Win or .22-250. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? Thanks!

I do have a bdc on my ML but ain't sure if it accurate or not
