Looking to take my oldest son antelope hunting next year. This will be his first trip to Wy . He's is a single dad raising three kids so he hasn't had the chance to go before. We will have an avg of 2.5 points. Where would be a good start to look at ? I've hunted unit 57 but won't have enough points. Been in unit 6 but that was 25 years ago. Just looking for a fun hunt and any help would be appreciated .Thanks
.

If you have the money and 2.5 PPs, put in for the Special Draw for unit 27 south of Gillette. It has a ton of public land and plenty of antelope to have fun with him.

Some area in the 40's and 50's can be drawn with 2+ PP in the special draw. Don't be afraid of type 2 tags also.
Antelope are doing well in most of the state so watch this winter to see if it affects the herds for next year.
Game and Fish has the drawing odds posted for each area by PP.

I appreciate the help. I have looked at the draw odds on Wy game and fish. Trying to find good public access
