new vortex nomad broke??

got my new spotter in, took it out yesterday to look at some deer...unscrewing the eyepiece cover and the whole eye piece unscrewed off...

is this a problem? or will be be fine since i screwed it back in?

That is a removeable eyepiece. Just bayonet the eyepiece back in, tighten the lock ring and you should be just fine.

Sometimes when they're new that cover is assembled pretty tightly.

By designing the scope with a removeable eyepiece, it leaves open the option to offer other eyepieces such as a fixed 30X or a lensed adapter for an SLR camera.
