Hi yall - i'm new to the utah countie area!

where is some great hikeing areas & places to find some good deer an elk sheds?

thanks yall

Ha ha so you really think people are just going to kick down good places to find sheds!!! Well look around there is a mountain almost everywhere you look. Put on a good pair of hiking boots and start looking for your own good place to find sheds. If you put in the miles you might just find one or two or more. I just moved here myself last summer but that didn't stop me from finding sheds this year. Good luck and find them sheds GOOSE!!

Oh a little direction you say. Ok get in your car/truck and drive to Provo then drive up canyon exactly 5.7 miles stop and park on the shoulder side of the road. If you look about 100 feet off the road there is a sapling that has no leafs. proceed to hike in a straight line 1.9 miles at that point there is a rock that looks like the head of a mule, turn right and hike another 1.1 miles at that point there is a big tree with a forked branch turn left and hike about 200 steps and there is a old as hell 4 point shed that I saw like 8 months ago that you can find and if you want you can have it too. Plus you will have an awesome hike, and you might evan find some of the sheds that I didn't find this year. Good luck and happy hiking. I hope my directions were clear enough for you.

should i wear a tin foil hat and a metal pole hikeing stick and only hike when it is raining?

should i wear an orange shed-hunting vest from cabella's.

thanks for the help you jurks

I was being serious, there is a nice old chalky white shed for the taking if you follow my directions. If you don't like what I am suggesting and think I am a ass for pointing out the obvious then don't listen to my directions. Sure I have some places in my back yard area is what I call it with in a 30 minute drive from my house but I really don't want to see a mass people hitting the places I love to go because they just want something easy. Do some of your own research, find where there are deer and elk and then start figuring out where to go, buy a map, or google earth it if you need too. get in the car/ truck and take a drive and then get out and hike you butt off until you find some of your own sweet shed spots. I am not really trying to be a #####. It's just like I said I don't want to give you spots that I have found for you to have success if your not going to put in the time to try to find the spot on your own. Find the Horn GOOSE!!

LMFAO! Didn't see this one coming? A first post asking "where to go" so I compete with other shed hunters and not being able to spell is asking for a few rough results. No offense intended bone_collektor.

If you are looking to take your Rhino for a burn, head up American Fork Canyon and go from Tibble fork. There are a lot of trails up there you can ride all day and is some beautiful country. Thanks for your service!!

Okay I am sorry for all the Hazing, where in UT County do you live? south end or north end? for example if south end Payson canyon has great hiking trails and some 4 wheeling at the top, if you are up on the northern side of UT County try out by West mountain by Utah lake great areas to ride there but I dare say that you will find sheds at either place that you can just ride up and pick up off the ground. You might have to ride back in to find good places to start hiking. Good luck I hope you have some luck.

i live in the north end of utah countie. i have heard of payson canyon i will have to check that mountan out.

thanks for the help.

yall don;t know what real hazeing is !

In all seriousness, if you wanna make the drive up to Midway
I could show ya some great places to ride and go for a hike.
