does anyone know if the rumor is true about keeping skulls in utah if it is true
The proc. says that if you get the gps cords. and give them to the fish and game, they will go check it out and if they determine that it is not poached, they MAY let you keep it. But with that MAY in their I wouldnt count on anything. In my opinion all you are doing is giving them a reason to drill you and try to say your a poacher. You better off just walking away from it!

What rumor? The laws are pretty clear, I haven't heard any rumors.

I talked to a conservation officer the other day about this and he said that our law here in UT is now basically just like WY. If you find a dead buck, report it to an officer and they will investigate. If no foul play is involved then you get to keep the antlers. I think it's a great idea and it's about time. In the past people just sneak the racks home and nobody wins. At least this way the DWR will is notified of the situation and will possibly catch more poachers while we're at it.
