At the hunting expo in salt lake the other day, I was able to talk to the Nikon rep about their new rangefinders coming out. If you're in the market for an angle compensating rangefinder, you may want to wait a few months. He said they should be out about June.
The difference in the new ones is the reticle. It changes from black to red, depending on the background. So, if you are ranging a bear or a moose, the display will be red. If you are ranging a Dall sheep, the display will be black.
Also, the Archer's choice and the rifle hunter will get boosts in yardage. I believe he said the archer's choice will go out to 250 now (previously 100). Not sure on the rifle hunter.
The new models will be called ______ max, like archer's choice max.
