New Mexico Sheds

Has anyone been out yet? I was just wondering how much snow is on the ground and how bad the roads are. It's still a bit soon for most of the sheds to drop but I am just getting kinda excited. I'll post some photos in the next couple days to give other NM shed hunters something to look forward to.

depends where your trying to go...been out running some cats..roads were bad..but our trucks go wherever we want..

I did see a small 2 point whitetail with only one side last week. That is kind of odd for shedding so early and so small of a antler. I saw 4 bulls the other day with full racks

I live in Albuquerque so we can get to anywhere in the state within a couple hours. We tend to look for Mule Deer sheds up north and Elk down south. I would love to look for some whitetail sheds. I have heard that there are some along the Texas border. We checked out some of the roads in the northern part of the state and we got around pretty good. When the weather warms up it is going to be a muddy mess. It could get real bad real quick.
