New Mexico Results

New Mexico will post its results tonight at 12:01 a.m. MT.

But a few moments ago I received an email from NMGF marked "CONGRATULATIONS". I almost hyperventilated, believing it could be a Wheeler Peak bighorn tag... but it was not.

I drew a pronghorn tag, ANT-1-100, non-res/non-guided, so I feel pretty good about the chance for a quality speedgoat hunt this Fall in New Mexico.

I'll still probably check in after midnight to confirm the UNSUCCESSFUL for bighorn... but you never know.

I did the hyperventilating thing too, and mine was an antelope also. Still should be a great hunt with my wife.

Yeah, I also got another goose egg.... the BIG FAT ZERO!! I seriously think you gotta be sleeping with someone at the NMDGF to get a antelope tag in this state. 10 years of putting in and nothing...
