New Mexico Barbary Sheep

Anybody hunt barbarys this year in New Mexico? Any luck? I was thinking about going this weekend (last weekend of the season). Anybody have any tips on where to look? I'll probably head south of Pinon around Jernigan Wash. Anyone ever hunt around there or in the Brokeoffs/Big Dog/Little Dog Canyon? I hear they are tough to find...

vinihunt here at MM has had some real good hunts down there , he and his brother have killed a few good rams , but I know he spends alot of time scouting and they hunt there tails off . Its a tough hunt , most are on private property , up in unit 9 they are all on private or reservation land now , so down south is your only shot at em . Wished I had better news , I think the G&F doesn't really let the public know that there is barely a huntable # ....I'd call down to the Roswell and Las Cruces office and get the wardens that work that area and visit with them guys , pick their brains some ....NMHUNTNUTT
