Looks like you are going to have to "pay to play" when applying for tags in 2008. How many guys have $3,172 for sheep, $1,622 for ibex, plus $1,622 for oryx...that doesn't include the cost of deer, antelope, and elk tags to apply! Get your wallets ready!

Thank God!!! I for one HATE the current system where all you have to do is up front the 8 bucks.. Going back to the "pay to play" is the way to go. I hope they stay with it forever!!

You better read the regs again. There are no upfront fees for elk, deer, oryx, or antelope. The game commission doesn't want to lose out of the app. fees I guess.

No need for me to reread the regs. I dont put in for those species. I only put in for ibex and sheep in NM
