New Leupold Scopes

I have noticed that everyone has had sales lately on Leupold VX-III rifle scopes. Now lots are selling the new VX-3.

Does anyone know what is new and improved about them? Is there any real difference?

I believe a part of the change is that they now have the higher end glass and qualities of the VX-L series. The original VX-L will now be called VX-3L
